Native November 2022 Events

November is Native American Heritage Month. This year’s theme, Beyond an Acknowledgement, is a call for the campus community to go beyond simply learning and acknowledging Indigenous history. Rather, it urges all of us to genuinely recognize current issues, resoundingly celebrate successes, and unyieldingly commit to a better future.

Nalox-ZONE boxes installed in University Housing

In partnership with Wisconsin Voices for Recovery, UW–Madison has placed Nalox-ZONE boxes in 12 residence and dining halls around campus. The boxes, which contain nasal spray naloxone, will allow someone to respond quickly to the signs of an opioid overdose.
