To protect the health and safety of you and our campus community, the SOAR program will be in an online format. We will still make sure your Wisconsin Experience starts off right! New undergraduate students (freshmen and transfer) enrolling in summer and fall terms will complete their orientation online. Please have your student continue to check their email for updates as well as complete the required tasks on the New Student To Do list in MyUW.
The Center for the First-Year Experience (CFYE) is committed to providing you with the necessary support to help facilitate a successful transition for your student. For this reason, we offer a concurrent SOAR Parent & Family Orientation. In June, you will receive free access to the SOAR Parent & Family Orientation site. You will be provided with comprehensive information about UW-Madison within themed topics. You will be able to review the site at your own pace as many times as you would like.
