Each year, an activity planning board called the Wisconsin Union Directorate (WUD) designs, manages, and promotes more than 1,000 campus events and programs for the university community. The Distinguished Lecture Series (DLS), one of WUD’s programs, brings diverse and world-renowned guest lecturers to our campus. Past speakers have included: Ralph Nadar, Helen Prejean, Elie Wiesel, Ingrid Newkirk, Ben Karlin, and Al Sharpton. This semester’s itinerary includes evolutionary biologist Richard Dawkins, and political commentator Andrew Sullivan, among others. Tickets are free. For more information, visit the WUD Web site.
