Is there a younger sibling at home wondering what it’s like to be a Badger? If so, then we present the perfect Parent Program event: Sibs Day! Experience campus together.
The Parent Program is excited to present its second annual Sibs Day, which will take place Saturday, April 8, 2017. UW–Madison students are encouraged to invite their brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, or family friends ages 8–18 to experience our wonderful campus and the city of Madison. Sibs Day will feature a packed schedule of events and activities, including a photo scavenger hunt, photoshoot with Bucky, learning sessions, a hands-on service project, performances from student groups, a Terrace Chair paint night, Badger-spirited games and activities, and much more!
Registration is now open and will run until Wednesday, March 15, or until we reach 200 participants.

Below is a tentative schedule for Sibs Day. A final, full schedule of events will be available closer to the event.
9 a.m.–10:00 a.m.: Check-In
Sibs and students check in, pick up their T-shirts and free swag, and get ready for a spirited day by greeting our furry friends from Dogs on Call.
10:15 a.m.–10:30 a.m.: Welcome
10:30 a.m.–11:30 a.m.: Brunch & Student Entertainment
Students and their siblings experience a dining hall experience by picking out brunch and lunch items at the Four Lakes Market. Student entertainment such as the UW Band and music and dance groups will entertain during brunch.
11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m.: Interactive Campus Photo Scavenger Hunt
12:30 p.m.–1:30 p.m.: Photoshoot with Bucky and Snack Break
1:45 p.m.–2:45 p.m.: Badger Experience Learning Session #1
3 p.m.–4 p.m.: Badger Experience Learning Session #2
4 p.m.–5 p.m.: Madison Bus Tours
5:30 p.m.–7 p.m.: Pizza & Paint Night with Wheelhouse Studios and DJs from Student Radio Station WSUM.

When, what, and where is Sibs Day?
UW–Madison’s Parent Program is hosting Sibs Day on Saturday, April 8, 2017. It is a fun-filled day for UW students and their siblings as they experience campus together. The day officially starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 7 p.m.
Who can attend Sibs Day?
Students, siblings, family members, and friends are invited to participate in Sibs Day. This event is targeted for siblings 8 to 18 years old. Nevertheless, a sibling can be anyone, no matter how old! Brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, or family friends — everyone is welcome. However, it is important to remember a UW–Madison student or family member must attend and be with the guests for the entire day, without exception.
We recognize the financial commitment required for families to attend Sibs Day. We are offering a need-based scholarship program to help offset the expenses for attending. The Sibs Day Scholarship provides funding for registration of up to two siblings/family members ($30 per registrant).

Do I need to complete liability and health forms?
Yes. All participants are required to complete a liability form in order to join us for the day. A liability waiver is needed in order for you to grant permission for siblings to participate in the Sibs Day activities. You will receive an email prior to the event with the liability waiver attached for you to print out, sign, and bring to check-in. We will also have forms available at check-in, so parents or guardians can fill them out when dropping off siblings.
Are overnight accommodations available?
Accommodations on campus are not provided, but we encourage you to stay at a local hotel near the UW–Madison campus. For ideas on places to stay, check out our “Visiting Madison” FAQ page.
What is the cancellation and refund policy?
Changes may be made to your Sibs Day registration through Wednesday, March 15, 2017. To make a change, go to the Sibs Day registration website and log in with the email address and password that were submitted with your initial registration. You may also contact us at the Parent Program, and we can cancel or make changes for you.
Cancellations submitted online before Wednesday, March 15, 2017 will result in a refund of registration fees, minus a cancellation fee of $5 per registration.
To make changes to your Sibs Day registration after Wednesday, March 15, 2017, please contact the Parent Program directly. Cancellations received after Friday, March 17, 2017, will result in a refund of registration fees, minus T-shirt costs and a cancellation fee of $5 per registration.
