Even when classes are not in session, Madison is still bustling with activity. During the winter months, you and your student can enjoy shopping and dining in downtown Madison, visit the Capitol building and enjoy the holiday decorations, or take advantage of a guided walk along the snow-covered trails at the UW Arboretum. Indoors, a variety of events are offered at the Wisconsin Union, Kohl Center, and Overture Center for the Arts.
