Research Opportunity for Parents

Seeking empty-nest couples! The UW–Madison Couples Lab is conducting a research study to learn about couple relationships once grown children have left home. You and your partner may be eligible to participate if you experienced the empty nest within the last two years, are age 43-57, and are willing to attend two laboratory sessions together at UW–Madison. You will also be asked to complete daily communication ratings at home for two weeks. Flexible appointment days and times can accommodate out-of-town participants. Compensation will be provided for study completion. If you are interested in this research opportunity, please call 608-263-2351 or e-mail relationships@sohe.wisc.edu.

For questions about this research, contact Lauren Papp, associate professor of human development and family studies in the School of Human Ecology, at 608-262-8611 or papp@wisc.edu.
